Checking if the meshnetwork is working

SI got the two nodes up now (two TP-Link TLWA850RE’s), they are braodacsting their mesh network via WLAN and also the Access Point via WLAN.

But how can I test the mesh network, also how to I check perhaps the status of the mesh network (if there is such thing as a status page.)

According to you configurations page your network is using 10.8.0.0 as IPv4 IP Range.
If you connect your PC to the network and direct your browser to the ip address 10.8.254.254 you should get the status page of the local router you are connected to, which -besides other information- shows if there are other routers in the mesh and what the link quality and link speed are.
