da die Original-Riser für die PCI-Steckplätze relativ teuer sind und sich PCI Netzwerkkarten auch nicht mehr so ganz lohnen, haben wir mal probiert in einem Futro S550-2 eine PCIe-Netzwerkkarte zu verbauen.
Zunächst ein S550 mit PCIe-Vorbereitung. Das zu löten lohnt aber nicht wirklich:

Wir haben acht für 20 15 €/Stk. erworben.
Dazu Riser von Ebay, für 1,30 €/Stk. und gebrauchte PCIe-Netzwerkkarten mit niedrigem Profil. War ein Restposten, 3,34 €/Stk.
Der Einbau ist ein bisschen unschön, weil man mit einer Kneifzange von der Metallbrücke in der Mitte etwas abknapsen muss, damit der Riser reinpasst. Und das Kabel liegt da auch nicht ideal. Aber ist halt gebastelt.
Die Netzwerkkarte wird erkannt. Welche der beiden jetzt die fest verbaute ist, weiß ich nicht. Dies ist mit Ubuntu 17.04 Desktop getestet. Den passenden Treiber sollte Gluon aber auch haben.

Hatte nur ein LAN-Kabel an der neuen Karte stecken und hatte darüber eine Internetverbindung. Läuft also.
