die neue Beta (201610042240) basiert jetzt auf Gluon v2016.2. Gibt es irgendwelche Auffälligkeiten?

mich würden gerade vor allem Erfahrungen mit cpe210v1.1 interessieren.

Wenn es auf Gluon 2016.2 basiert werden die bedeutend besser sein, war bei uns in Karlsruhe nämlich auch der Fall - habe selbst auch eine CPE210.

Das Problem mit dem „besser“ zumindest bei den Tests in LLN ist, dass es nicht gut genug war. Trotz händisch erwähnter Commit-ID.
in Anbetracht der Update-Todesrate ist das dann eventuell ein „besser nicht“.

WR1043 V2 (mit Uplink)
Ubiquiti NanoStation M2 (MoL mit WR1043)
WR841N (Mesh)

Erster Eindruck: über WR841N nicht möglich über SSID Freifunk einzuloggen. Nanostation und WR1043 sehr gute Performance laut nPerf. Beim weiteren Testen der Freifunk-Verbindung ständige Abbrüche (Mumble, Facebook, …).

WR1043N

Mit „Einloggen“ meinst Du eine Verbindung zum Freifunk-WLAN herstellen und eine IPv4-Adresse erhalten, richtig? Wie wählst Du aus, über welchen Router du surfst? Gibt es die Probleme auch, wenn Du dich per LAN-Kabel mit dem Router verbindest (dafür muss entweder Mesh-on-LAN deaktiviert werden und batman-adv auf deinem Rechner laufen)? Macht WR841N Mesh mehr Kabel, LAN oder WAN?

Was für ein Medium ist „en0“? Bist Du per Kabel oder WLAN verbunden? Der Packet Loss ist da ja erheblich, kein Wunder, dass die Internetverbindung da nicht mehr gut läuft. Könntest Du zum Testen ggf. mal einen anderen Kanal auf den drei Routern probieren?

Ja, Einloggen ist per WLAN verbinden. Die Auswahl mache ich zu Fuß, also näher an den Router und neu verbinden. Per LAN-Kabel habe ich es noch nicht getestet. Die letzte Frage verstehe ich nicht.

Getestet habe ich bisher immer über WLAN. Weitere Tests schiebe ich erst mal auf. Der WR841 hat mehr als 12 Stunden funktioniert bis er wieder „eingefroren“ ist. Ich habe ihn durch einen anderen WR841 gleicher Version mit der beta-Firmware ersetzt. Das möchte ich die nächsten Tage beobachten, um einen Hardware-Fehler auszuschließen.
Beide anderen Nodes (Nanostation, WR1043) laufen inzwischen einwandfrei.

Was für Entfernungen sind das? Im Umkreis von < 2 Meter kann es durch ungünstige Positionierung der Antennen von Router und Endgerät schonmal zu nicht optimalem Empfang kommen, wodurch Router, deren Entfernung vom Endgerät weiter entfernt sind, besser zu empfangen sind.

Du hast geschrieben „WR841N (Mesh)“, da würde ich gerne wissen, wie der Router genau vermascht ist.

Ok, wenn die anderen Router laufen, spricht das ja eher dafür, dass unsere Firmware prinzipiell in Ordnung ist. Wenn es ein prinzipielles Gluon-2016.2-Problem mit dem 841er gäbe, hätten das wohl andere schon gemerkt. Welche Version von dem Router ist es?

Mesh ohne Kabel, also Mesh on air.

Der Verdacht auf defekte Hardware hat sich verdichtet. Ich habe den ersten WR841 durch einen anderen ersetzt (beide Version 9.2). Seit knapp 2 Tagen läuft der ohne Probleme.

Hat sich durch ein Reboot erledigt. uci commit fastd/network bzw. restart network scheinen nicht gereicht zu haben. Jedenfalls kommen die Meldungen nicht mehr.
