That’s actually already the case — FTR, @j4ck hasn’t been online in the forum since 03/21/2026; he should have been notified about posts here via email, but since nothing is happening either here in the forum/thread or anywhere else, it’s probably already past the eleventh hour when it comes to „saving“ Freifunk Winterberg.
For b), as seen in the thread, there are even fewer people than for a), where the number is around zero — at least that’s how I read it.
Apparently, there’s no longer even enough manpower to pass a board resolution — in any direction whatsoever.
Anyway, still a firmware-based migration of the Winterberg nodes into the network of 4830.org e. V. is possible, and that through simple DNS changes. But without decision-makers or doers at Freifunk Winterberg e. V., nothing happens, of course.
